Iperius backup price - commit
Iperius backup is a very powerful program that in its pay-to-play persona images partitions and drives to a non-proprietary format and also handles backup of files, virtual machines, and various pro and enterprise formats. There’s also a limited, but still useful free version if all you need is the plain file backup.
This review is part of our ongoing roundup of the best Windows backup software. Go there for information on competing products and how we tested them.
Design and interface
Because of the relatively Spartan yet attractive interface, Iperius gives you the feeling right off the bat that you’re dealing with a pro-level application. Not that there aren’t some ugly or dated looking programs that perform extremely well—that’s shape prejudice on my part, to be sure.
However, though the program looks straightforward at first, the scattershot way of defining the relationship between sources (“items” in Iperius) and destinations makes it less simple than it seems.
Destinations for files copies are defined in the destinations pane of the tabbed dialog that steps you through creating a backup job, while destinations for imaging and FTP are done in separate dialogs. If you want the latter copied to the same destinations as the file copies, you must select the “copy to backup job destinations” option in the imaging and FTP dialogs. Sounds convoluted? That’s because it is.
It’s easy once you understand the concept, and the flexibility is worth the learning curve, but the process would be much easier to understand if all the destinations were defined in the sameplace.
Features
There’s little in the way of backup that Iperius can’t do. It performs plain file copies (really a one-way sync), copies files to Zip containers, and images drive and partitions to friendly .VHD containers. The .VHD files are mountable by Windows and various virtual machines (VirtualBox, VMware, etc.) programs, so you’re not reliant upon Iperius to browse them.
There’s even has a fully functional FTP client on board that opens up a remote directory and a local one, then lets you copy back and forth. FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is the granddaddy of remote file access protocols. I still used it to back up my PCs to my NAS boxes..
Options include scheduling, email upon error or completion, network user profiles (user name/password so you don’t have to re-enter them for every job), and a host of criteria about what to copy, among other settings.
The one option I did not spot was an option to throttle CPU usage. You can vary the level of Zip compression, which can have the same effect if you’re using that container format. On the other hand, I never noticed Iperius slowing down my system, so whatever percentage or algorithm they use, it works.
Iperius backs up to cloud services such as Dropbox and Google Drive. However unlike other programs that allow you to interact with the service via a web browser by merely letting you sign in, Iperius forces you to sign in from outside the program and grab a token. You can read about the methodology here, but this is another sticky wicket for less experienced users. Iperius offers an online storage service that may be used with the program if your service isn’t supported.
Iperius also offers a console service for IT types that will track what’s been going on with your backups. Some versions of the program (not tested) support backup of SQL, virtual machines, Exchange and more.
The free version is great for backing up files to local and local network destinations, but it won’t run as a service, perform multiple simultaneous backups, or create recovery boot media as the pay versions will.
As the single PC license is a mere 29 euros ($32 at the time of this writing), I recommend that you give the 21-day trial a shot. The advanced features are useful, and if you don’t need them, you can continue to use the limited version for free. You can compare all the Iperius versions on the company’s website.
Performance
I did a number of tests with Iperius, including multiple-action file/image jobs with multiple destinations. For all file-related tasks, including downloading files from FTP and network locations, it performed quickly without, as I mentioned, slowing down my system. The integrity of the backups was perfect.
The only issue I had was with imaging: An image was created properly, but wasn’t copied to my local external hard drive, which Iperius said was likely because the primary destination (external USB drive) was formatted to exFAT and not NTFS. Hopefully, this is not an issue much longer. I run both PCs and Macs, and exFAT lets me use the drive on both platforms. If that’s not an issue for you, use NTFS, which is much faster writing small files.
Caveats
A few unusual features to note with Iperius. By default the program will recreate the entire path of the folder or file you’re backing up. This can under some circumstances induce errors by creating file names that are too long. Disable the option in the dialog to avoid this.
The program that I downloaded wasn’t completely translated to English. Other languages my be different, but there were still buttons in Italian in the log dialog, and possibly other locations. It was easy to guess the similar words, but it does make one wonder what else had been overlooked.
Also, the backup progress dialog isn’t modal and can easily be hidden behind the main window. To show it, access the system tray icon and select the option to show it.
Conclusion
I’m extremely impressed with Iperius Backup’s versatility and performance. It could do a better job of defining and presenting the relationship between sources and destinations, but the mere fact that it’s so versatile in this regard, and that it combines file backup and imaging using non-proprietary containers, puts it in my top three.
For system recovery, the little non-fatal glitches in the language translation and imaging transfer test means I’ll stick with my old pals True Image and R-Drive Image, but I’m liking Iperius as a one-stop shop. Definitely worth the download. Check it out.
Iperius Backup
Complete solution for data protection for Windows 10, XP, 7, 8, Windows Server 2008/2003 and Server 2012, Server 2016.
Disk image, hot backup of open files (VSS), Disaster Recovery (with hardware independent restore), incremental backup, automatic backup, online backup to Cloud/FTP, backup of databases and ESXi / Hyper-V virtual machines, backup to NAS and Tape LTO, Backup of Exchange mailboxes.
PERPETUAL LICENSE, WITH NO LIMITATIONS OR HIDDEN COSTS AND UPDATES INCLUDED, AT THE MOST COMPETITIVE PRICE ON THE GLOBAL MARKET.
Backup/Restore VMware ESXi/Free-vCenter (CBT)
Iperius supports the incremental and differential backup of virtual machines using Changed Block Tracking (CBT/VDDK) technology, only saving the actual used space on the virtual disks. Compatible with both vCenter and ESXi Free (vSphere Hypervisor), it also supports automatic restore on different hosts (also for replicating/cloning virtual machines).
Backup/Restore Hyper-V
Iperius can run virtual machine snapshots and backups of Hyper-V servers from any computer on the network, in a completely automatic way. It supports all versions of Hyper-V and can save virtual machines in two modes, either by copying individual disk files or by executing an incremental image (block level), also with the truncation of logs.
Backup/Restore Exchange Server
Iperius can export mailboxes to .PST files (you can back up the Microsoft mail server also from another machine in the network) and import them individually to retrieve one or more messages. A backup and a granular restore, to which you add the incremental image backup mode (block level), which also allows automatic log truncation.
Backup/Restore SQL Server and MySQL databases
It also supports the backup of SQL Express, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases. With one license, you can back up unlimited databases, it also supports automatic database restore on different servers and allows you to save backup files to multiple destinations, such as NAS, external drives, Cloud services such as Google Drive, Amazon S3 and FTP servers.

Not doing the job
Not doing the job
Iperius backup is a half solution and even the half part is not working as it should.
In my case it was not able to work with Vcenter, and also was not able to do basic Esxi vm backup and restore it.
What are the pros?
What are the cons?
Does not work with Vcenter (any vcenter)
Cannot work with VM's that have disc mode DEFAULT selected (which is 99% of all users and vm's)
So actually for esxi users, this is really really limited software.
Great product and great support
We use this software on 7 servers for Database and VM backups. It's really easy to set up a backup profile. Using the export/import you can copy backup profiles between different servers. We had some trouble with the VM backups (due to unsuccessful shadow copies), but the support solved the problem.
What are the pros?
Easy to maintain: Setup of backup jobs, large number of options
What are the cons?

Very good, very economical...
Iperius does a nice job on the backups; configuration is relatively straightforward. Caveat: it's not "simple" or "intuitive." But, there's no such thing in the backup world, if you ask me. So, considering the market their in, they have an extremely "friendly" interface. (one glitch, that I actually enjoy, is that some of the interface screens haven't been translated into english, yet...so, brush up on your Italian when you use it! not a show-stopper, and I found it more amusing than otherwise. I'm sure they'll fix it, and I'll shed a small tear, and say a quick prayer on that day....) Iperius backs up to NAS(es) easily, which is huge for me. Can handle full backups of windows servers, including the db intensive Exchange and SQL parts. The only downside - which keeps it from perfection, in my book - is retention management. They have a variant of it, but, it feels like a bolt on, and isn't my favorite. I can make it work for my needs, but, it lacks the intentionality that the rest of the program enjoys. If you're backup requirements are insanely complex, it's worth a look. It's worth way more than a look. Considering the price, it is possibly the best value in the industry.
What are the pros?
Backup to NAS, Exchange/SQL support, easy to setup & use. My favorite bit that others don't have: daily reports (no errors) can go to one email, while error reports can go to another. I love that. The price is another huge pro. I've seen far lesser apps for 2x the price.
What are the cons?
retention management needs a little love. I won't call the untranslated screens a "con" per se, but, I'm sure it's something they'll fix....
About Iperius Backup

Backups exactly the way I want them every single time
Pros
This software has literally everything you can ask for in a backup program. The fact that I can choose exactly where, when, how, etc I want to back things up is incredible. You aren't just stuck choosing to backup a local backup, but you have the options of backing up from FTP, disk cloning, esxi, hyper-v, Microsoft Exchange, and specifically tailored options for backing up an SQL server, or oracle systems.
As far as destinations go, you can backup to the cloud, through ftp, a tape backup, a local disk or external drive with zero limitations.
Scheduling can be as detailed as you want but what really makes this program shine in my eyes are the options you get for how to handle backups. (Advanced options)
You can exclude or include system files with the click of a single button, you can easily change how detailed the logs are and very specific event triggers to notify you when something goes wrong, or even when it doesn't. It has file compression, incremental backups, you can choose file revision history, incremental backups, full backups, and even have the program start another program as soon as a backup ends or right before it starts.
It uses hardly any system resources even if left running 24/7 for real time backups.
If there is an error the logs are very specific allowing you to tell exactly what file caused an issue or what errors the program encountered. This is extremely helpful to me allowing me to backup exactly what was missed due to errors
Cons
For a new user not versed in how to use the software it can absolutely be a daunting experience. The options and choices for how to do things can easily confuse someone not familiar with the program layout or how to navigate the software as there is such a huge selection of options to select from.

First of all, thank you for being a valued customer. Iperius provide to all customers Free support and Free updates and we are very sorry to read that your experience with our Support Service was so bad, recently we have introduced a new ticketing system for providing a better customers service and this system is partially automatic, It means that if we don't receive a reply from the customer within 72 hours, the system considers the ticket automatically closed. We're really sorry if you had a disservice for that but otherwise would be very hard to manage many thousands of customers in all of the world with support tickets opened and never closed, for delay often not depending to us. We hope that you can give us another chance and reconsider your opinion on our Customer Service. Thank you.

Very happy with the multitude of backup types in the full license.
Pros
Love the ability to backup vmware multiple ways with multiple destinations. The price cannot be beat, and it really is a fast nightly backup when you use changed block tracking. I have used several other much more expensive products, and after trying Iperius in multiple environments, there really is no comparison, Iperius outperforms them all when a cost vs. performance ratio is analyzed.
Cons
If I had to choose a small negative about the software, I would say the English translation could be improved a bit, I have found some grammatical errors. Many versions ago this led to some difficulty configuring, but they seem to be improving in many areas with every new version.

- Tape Backup – Traditional industrial tape backups haven’t become obsolete just yet. Sure, SSD and other modern technologies are quite a force to reckon with, but their capacity and durability just can’t beat the mammoth scope of tapes for the time being.
- Disk Backup/Network – Use traditional, tried and true networking with mass storage through NAS, External USB, RDX, and other established technologies for very workable local backups you have full control over.
- Proper Encryption – Use military-grade AES encryption and Zip64 compression for efficiency and total security.
- ESXi and Hyper-V Compatible – Backup your VMWare ESXi, Hyper-V, and other virtual machine technologies (something a lot of backup systems don’t do). Don’t be afraid to take full advantage of virtualization in this new multi-threaded world.
- Database Backups – Back up your databases with full incremental copy and rollback. This is compatible with all SQL, NoSQL, and even unconventional niche database types in wide use today.
- Drive Imaging – Back up system images in entirety, independent of their operating system. This includes all of your devices, PCs, servers, and anything else. This makes configurations, accounts, and anything else otherwise lost to problems easily restored with minimal muss or fuss.
- FTP Backup/Sync – Use the reliable FTP protocol to run parallel transfers for backups/restorations and sync of all data. This is a lightweight protocol that’s been vetted over many years and doesn’t tax the network or devices using it.
- Cloud Backup – Of course cloud technology isn’t going to go ignored. Unlike many other services, though, it’s not treated as a solitary backbone, but rather as another one of many compatible storage mediums to be backed up or used as storage itself. Most major cloud services are more than compatible for either use with Iperius.
- Visual Console/Dashboard – Track logistics, logs, and usage with an intuitive console utility.
- Remoting – Remote utility allows on-the-go administration and management of backup systems.
- Full Protection/Security – Your data is safe from ransomware and other hostile and malicious threats that are rampant today.

Everything you need, and several features you didn't know you wanted
5.0 4 years ago
Comments:Backups exactly the way I want them every single time
Pros:
(Advanced options) You can exclude or include system files with the click of a single button, you can easily change how detailed the logs are and very specific event triggers to notify you when something goes wrong, or even when it doesn't.
Cons:

Thank you.

Great Low Cost Backup for VMware
5.0 4 years ago
Comments:Very happy with the multitude of backup types in the full license.
Pros:
Love the ability to backup vmware multiple ways with multiple destinations. The price cannot be beat, and it really is a fast nightly backup when you use changed block tracking. I have used several other much more expensive products, and after trying Iperius in multiple environments, there really is no comparison, Iperius outperforms them all when a cost vs. performance ratio is analyzed.
Cons:
If I had to choose a small negative about the software, I would say the English translation could be improved a bit, I have found some grammatical errors. Many versions ago this led to some difficulty configuring, but they seem to be improving in many areas with every new version.

It’s easy once you understand the concept, and the flexibility is worth the learning curve, but the process would be much easier to iperius backup price if all the destinations were defined in the sameplace.
Features
There’s little in the way of backup that Iperius can’t do, iperius backup price.
I still used it to back up my PCs to my NAS boxes.
Iperius also offers a console service for IT types that will iperius backup price what’s been going on with your backups. Some versions of the program (not tested) support backup of SQL, virtual machines, Exchange and more.
The free version is great for backing up files to local and local network destinations, iperius backup price, but it won’t run as a service, perform multiple simultaneous backups, or create recovery boot media as the pay versions will.
The only issue I had was with imaging: An image was created properly, but wasn’t copied to my local external iperius backup price drive, which Iperius said was likely because the primary destination (external USB drive) was formatted to exFAT and not NTFS.
This can under some circumstances induce errors by creating file names that are too long, iperius backup price. Disable the option in the dialog to avoid this.
The program that I downloaded wasn’t completely translated to English. Other languages my be different, but there were still buttons in Italian in the log dialog, and possibly other locations. It was easy to guess the similar words, but it iperius backup price make one wonder what else had been overlooked.

Not doing the job
Not doing the job
Iperius backup is a half solution and even the half part is not working as it should, iperius backup price.
So actually for esxi users, iperius backup price, this is really really limited software, iperius backup price.
Great product and great support
We use this software on 7 servers for Database and VM backups. It's really easy to set up a backup profile, iperius backup price. Using the export/import you can copy backup profiles between different servers. We had some trouble with the VM backups (due to unsuccessful shadow copies), but the support solved the problem.
What are the pros?
Easy to maintain: Setup of backup jobs, large number of iperius backup price What are the cons?
- Dan Iperius backup price Industry: IT Service Provider
- Company Size: 1-50 Employees
Very good, very economical.
Iperius does a nice job on the backups; configuration is relatively straightforward. Caveat: it's not "simple" or "intuitive." But, there's no such thing in the backup world, if you ask me. So, iperius backup price, considering the market their in, they have an extremely "friendly" interface. (one glitch, that I actually iperius backup price, is that some of the interface screens haven't been translated into english, yet.so, brush up on your Italian when you use it! not a show-stopper, and I found it more amusing than otherwise. I'm sure they'll fix it, and I'll shed a small tear, and say a quick prayer on that day.) Iperius backs up to NAS(es) easily, which is huge for me. Can handle ccleaner pro crack backups of windows servers, including the db intensive Exchange and SQL parts. The only downside - which keeps it from perfection, in my book - is retention management. They have a variant of it, but, it feels like a bolt on, and isn't my favorite. I can make it work for my needs, iperius backup price, but, it lacks the intentionality that the rest of the program enjoys. If you're backup requirements are insanely complex, it's worth a iperius backup price.
I won't call the untranslated screens a "con" per se, but, I'm sure it's something they'll fix.

We are able to keep our service free of charge thanks to cooperation with some of the vendors, who are willing to pay us for traffic and sales opportunities provided by our website. Iperius backup price - consider
Iperius Backup - Research and Compare
Features
Pricing
Iperius offers a multitude of plans, including a very basic free plan perfect for private users. Iperius is intended for everyone, be it individuals, families, small or medium business, or massive corporations. Prices reflect this and are very reasonable, depending on the scale and use needed. The only difficulty some may have is that the prices are based on the Euro, meaning those used to USD, CAD or AUD may be surprised by the conversion depending on the exchange rates at any given time. Their website has a comprehensive list of not just their plans, but features available per plan in very close detail.Subscription starting at:

Iperius Backup Reviews
IT professionals, data management specialists, private users, and business owners have all put in their 2 cents about Iperius. It’s been very well-received with a couple exceptions. Nothing is ever perfect, and the couple strong marks against this service are noteworthy, unfortunately.Pros and Cons
Pros
- Standard protocols.
- Imaging allows some level of platform agnosticism.
- Sync and database management mean the complete network and operation are safe.
- Anti-ransomware is a big feature some services overlook.
- Utilities are lightweight.
- Mostly easy to use.
- Traditional storage media are compatible.
- Cloud is available but not depended upon.
- Free version available.
Cons
- Customer support is lackluster.
- Windows-only desktop utilities means no true platform agnosticism.
- In need of better organizational tools.
- UI sometimes defies best practices for general Windows layout. This matters more than people may realize, especially with routine repetition.
- Virtual machines are not compressed.

Backups exactly the way I want them every single time
Backups exactly the way I want them every single time

We needed a reliable inexpensive backup solution to fit many scenarios and Iperius fits that very well. We backup data, VMs, full hard drives, I've restored VMs in a matter of hours, restored individual databases in minutes, its great software, and the free version works for most needs but we use paid for VMs. Support has always been responsive
Pros
We use Iperius for daily backups of all out data, both full daily drive backups and VMs with full then incremental. We backup to a NAS which Iperius does without any issues. i get daily emails and good logs of the backups to easily troubleshoot any issues
Cons
The scheduler defaults do not work for use, but its easily adjusted

Cons
IT support is really bad!!! They never solve my issues. The answers are never relevant and the new online ticketing is concentrated to close the ticket and not to solve the issues. It' not good!!! Very bad!!!

Great Low Cost Backup for VMware
Reviewed on 05/02/2019
Very happy with the multitude of backup types in the full license.

Everything you need, and several features you didn't know you wanted

Comments:Backups exactly the way I want them every single time
Pros:
(Advanced options) You can exclude or include system files with the click of a single button, you can easily change how detailed the logs are and very specific event triggers to notify you when something goes wrong, or even when it doesn't.
Cons:
For a new user not versed in how to use the software it can absolutely be a daunting experience. The options and choices for how to do things can easily confuse someone not familiar with the program layout or how to navigate the software as there is such a huge selection of options to select from.

Iperius works well and great pricing
5.0 last year
Comments:We needed a reliable inexpensive backup solution to fit many scenarios and Iperius fits that very well. We backup data, VMs, full hard drives, I've restored VMs in a matter of hours, restored individual databases in minutes, its great software, and the free version works for most needs but we use paid for VMs. Support has always been responsive
Pros:
We use Iperius for daily backups of all out data, both full daily drive backups and VMs with full then incremental. We backup to a NAS which Iperius does without any issues. i get daily emails and good logs of the backups to easily troubleshoot any issues
Cons:
The scheduler defaults do not work for use, but its easily adjusted

El mejor producto para salvar tus archivos!
